Se Lin Song
Se Lin was born in Seoul, South Korea. She completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked in the Percec Lab during her undergraduate degree, focusing on the nickel-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction. Upon graduation, she worked in the Synthetic Biology Lab at Yonsei University as an intern. She conducted research on the automated DNA synthesis using an inkjet printer. Following her internship, she moved to Professor Sukbok Chang’s group at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Now her interest is focused on selective C-H amidation using transition metals.
