Eojin Jeon

Jeon Eojin, who lives in Seoul, was not interested in studying during high school and tried to make a living by playing games, but gave up after feeling the limits of his talent.

After graduating from high school, when he was preparing for the university entrance exam, he became interested in chemistry and entered the Department of Chemistry at Sungkyunkwan University. Later, he became interested in organic chemistry and interned in Professor Ryu Dohyun's natural product synthesis laboratory, where he synthesized a boron-based catalyst and performed asymmetric synthesis.

Currently, he is interested in various C-H functionalizations using transition metal catalysts.
