Dr. Sangwon Seo
Sangwon carried out his undergraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, where he graduated with a first class honour degree in Chemistry with a Year in Industry (GSK). He did his PhD with Prof. Michael Greaney at the University of Manchester, and then moved to the University of Oxford to work as a postdoctoral research associate in the group of Prof. Michael Willis. In 2018, Sangwon joined the Center for Catalytic Hydrocarbon Functionalizations as a Young Scientist Fellow (YSF), funded by the Institute for Basic Science (IBS), where he is now working with Prof. Sukbok Chang and a small group of members to develop new synthetic methodologies.
